Kanu Culture Publications Since 1994
Batini Books is the publishing arm of the Kanu Culture Publications founded in 1994 by Steve West. Between 1994 and 2005, 9 books, 3 journals, numerous articles and the world's first outrigger canoeing coaching manual were produced. The series culminated in the publication of two significant works, 'The Art and Skill of Steering' (2006) and 'The Paddlers Guide to Outrigger Canoeing' (2007). Between 2008 and 2012 'Stand Up Paddle - A Paddlers Guide' was researched and published. Kanu Culture Publications set out to be as near definitive works as is possible within the selected areas of interest, gaining an international reputation for quality of content.
